I am proud to be progressing from completing my ILM Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management with Prostart to now studying ILM Level 7 in Senior Leadership with Prostart. This journey has strengthened my confidence as a leader and provided me with valuable insight into strategic thinking, service improvement, and leading through complexity.
As a CAMHS Service Manager, I am passionate about creating meaningful services for children, young people, and families, while developing and supporting the workforce around me. The knowledge and skills gained through my ILM studies have helped me translate leadership theory into practice, supporting service transformation, partnership working, and continuous improvement.
One of the highlights of my leadership journey this year has been being named in the INvolve Heroes Top 100 Future Leaders 2026 list, in partnership with YouTube, recognising leaders who are driving inclusion, championing positive change, and creating opportunities for others. This recognition reflects values that are central to my leadership approach: compassion, inclusion, continuous learning, and creating environments where people feel valued, heard, and able to thrive.
I am grateful to Prostart for their support throughout my leadership journey and for the role they have played in my development. The move from ILM 5 to ILM 7 represents more than a qualification pathway; it reflects an ongoing commitment to becoming the best leader I can be for the teams, communities, and young people I serve.
