Are you 16-18 and looking to start a career?
Aged 16-18 and traditional sixth form not for you? Our full time Passport to Success Programme may be what you need. At Prostart we offer the chance to gain recognised qualifications with the opportunity for work experience in your area of interest and progression to an apprenticeship.
We offer a variety of courses and qualifications and also offer the opportunity to obtain English and maths qualifications.

The Personal Development Programme includes enrichment Activities including Apprentice and employer guest speakers, Microsoft Office Specialist Training, Boundary and Resilience Training and we work with you on your interview skills and improving your confidence.

Age requirements
You must be under 19 on 31 August and not in full-time education.
Entry requirements
Entry requirements are flexible although students are expected to be able to read and write.
Can I apply if I have an EHCP plan?
We would assess your application to ensure we can meet your level of requirements.
Where are the courses delivered?
All lessons are delivered face-to-face in Long Eaton

How long are the courses?
Typical duration of the programme is 30 weeks however your programme is individualised and will be tailored to your needs following our initial assessment process
When do I enrol?
Courses begin in September but can be started at any point in the year
Do I get paid?
No, but bursary support may be available and we will assess you to see if we can access financial support for you
Are these courses free?
Yes, you will not be expected to pay for the course.
Can I be in full-time employment at the same time?
No, but you will be able to have a part-time job as long as it doesn’t interfere with your study or work placement timetable.
What options are available to me after completion?
Opportunities may be available to progress to an apprenticeship. We will be able to assist in
matching you with a suitable employer.
