Infrastructure Design Apprentice
ADC Infrastructure is looking for an Apprentice to join and compliment their experienced Infrastructure Design team, learn all about the niche area of work and potentially, develop a long-term career with the Company.
ADC’s Infrastructure Design team, work on the detailed design of:
- highways, junctions and accesses;
- piped drainage design;
- sustainable drainage systems; and
- earthworks volumetric calculations.
Applicants must be practical, logical and keen the learn new skills
The work is mainly computer based so good computer skills are essential as the role requires the use of a range of computer design software packages such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
The successful Applicant will be working with the design team on a range of project types and will be given the full support and training required. Full on the job training will be provided to enable to successful applicants to undertake all of the duties listed above.
ADC Infrastructure Limited was established in 2013. We advise on the infrastructure requirements for development projects. Our services fall into three interdependent areas:
- Transport Planning,
- Infrastructure Design, and
- Water Management.
Our team have a track record of delivering projects of all types and in all sectors to clients across the UK. Our experience ranges from single dwellings to new towns and urban extensions. We have assessed and designed the infrastructure for business parks, strategic freight interchanges, retail parks, and leisure schemes.
Annual wage – National Minimum Wage for Apprentices of £8.00 per hour
Working week – Monday – Friday, 8.30am until 5.00pm – 60 minutes lunch.
Total hours per week – 37.5
