Operations Departmental Manager Level 5

My manager introduced me to this course as a number of my team was already studying towards an Apprenticeship. Prior to starting my Apprenticeship, I was working as a Quantity Surveyor. I was moving more towards a management position, so I needed to development new skills, so I had the tools to manage teams and people.

Now I have completed the course I refer to lots of the content I have learnt such as setting SMART targets and have an awareness around different communication and management styles. During my studying I received incredible support from all members of the Prostart team for all sorts of reasons.  Every single member of the Prostart team are very friendly and any queries or questions are answered promptly.

If you are considering undertaking an Apprenticeship, I would highly recommend studying with Prostart. The manner and pace which the courses are delivered keeps you interested and engaged and there’s always lots of opportunity to ask questions. Nottingham City Council and my Line Manager made sure I had protected time in my diary so that I could progress my studies. At present I’m an settling in to my managers position with a view that I will look to enhance my management and leadership skills in 12 months time.
